DHAKA Dynamites clinched the Bangladesh Premier League in style, as they bundled out Rajshahi Kings for 103 to win by 56 runs. This is the third triumph for a Dhaka franchise in four BPLs.
It was also sweet revenge for Dhaka Dynamites who were beaten by Rajshahi in both their league games. For Rajshahi Kings, their top order failed as they collapsed from 62-1 to 98-8, losing seven wickets for 36 runs. They were eventually bowled out for 103 in 17.4 overs. Shakib Al-Hasan took the prized wicket of Sammy and sealed the fate of the game.
Kumara Sangakkara, the cricket legend, showed his class and kept his cool to take his team to 159. It was a successful tournament. The BPL 2016 is over and the Bangladesh national team will visit New Zealand, which will be an acid test for the Tigers.
