The world was shocked to read about shooting in a mosque of Quebec City, Canada that claimed six lives and injured many others. Canadian Prime Minster called it a terrorist attack on the Muslims. Witnesses said that three gunmen pulled out a gun and indiscriminately shot at the people inside the Islamic Centre. After the US elections we saw increasing attacks on the Muslims and it is a matter of great concern as it will only help the cause of the terrorist groups. They will use such incidents to spread hatred across the world and make it a more dangerous place to live in. Terrorists have no connection with any religion and we should not confuse them with millions of peace-loving people. No religion advocates killing of human beings or spread hatred. All religions preach peace and love. Our world is fast becoming a global village. We are connected with each other and we should be proud of our differences and diversities. We should not forget that darkness cannot be removed by darkness, we must light a candle to drive it away.
