Now-a-days students face a regular problem in the public transport. Recently bus companies started a new system called checking. Under the system they post checkers at some distances and realise maximum fare from passengers. They do not provide half ticket to students. In the name of seating service they do this and at every check post they have to give money to the checker. But they take standing passengers in the bus all the time.
This is fully illogical. Specially Mirpur, Banasree, Mohammadpur, New Market routes fall under the category. Students have to pay full fares on those routes but our honourable minister Obaidul Kader said that public transport has to take half the fare from students but most of the transports do not follow this. We pay attention to the authority.
