BANGLADESH Premier League (BPL) has generated a lot of enthusiasm among the cricket loving people of Bangladesh and abroad. A galaxy of international cricket stars like Shahid Afridi, Chris Gayle, Mahela Jayawadena, Andre Russel, Darren Sammy and Dwayne Bravo will illuminate the tournament alongside Bangladeshi stars like Shakib,Tamim, Mashrafee and Musfiqur Rahim. After Bangladesh beat England in the second test, excitement has naturally risen high. Unfortunately, the first two matches of BPL were washed out by rain and as I write this I am not sure about the fate of Saturday's matches as inclement weather continues. Seven teams are participating and in all 46 matches will be played. BPL will last one month and six days and will provide lot of entertainment for the cricket lovers. It will also enable our young players to showcase their innate talents and play along side the big names in world cricket.
