Bonding with children

Bonding with children
IN our mad rush for money and fortune, we often forget about the finer elements of life. We forget to spend time with family and friends and unknowingly stop being a social being. We become oblivious of our duty and obligations towards our children and deprive them of our care and affection. There are many fathers who tend to think that if they provide enough money and financial security for their children, they have nothing more to worry about. There are mothers who remain mostly out of their homes meeting friends or window shopping leaving their children at the hands of the house attendants. During the small hours when they stay at home, they are either watching TV or are glued to Facebook. In this way the children and their parents and the emotional bonding between them does not develop to a level which is essential. They live in the same house, but do not have time to spend time with their family members. It is sad that when phone and internet are supposed to connect us, we are getting disconnected from our loved children who live with us. The children feel neglected and get depressed in this way and some of them choose a wrong path and get spoilt. As parents we have a noble duty to our children  and guide them properly to become established in life. They are our dreams. If we ignore them, our dreams will be shattered.
