RECENTLY, I went to watch the latest Bangla movie "Aynabaji" in Balaka cinema hall and I found a big crowd outside the theatre and it was a pleasant sight to watch. The theatre authorities had kept police deployed to prevent any unwanted incident as the crowd was getting impatient when they found out that there were not many tickets unsold. Most movie lovers of the country stay away from watching Bangla movies as they know that the standard of present-day Bangla movies is very poor. I heard a lot of positive words of mouth about this movie and decided to check it out and I was not disappointed. It is a nice, clean and entertaining Bangla movie after a long time. The audience enjoyed the movie which was apparent from their faces as they were coming out of the hall. Quality of acting and other technical aspects were very good. It was not a usual run-of-the mill product. Actor Chanchal Chwodhury is the star of the movie and his excellent acting stole the show. The movie has been receiving a good response from audience. The debutante director Amitabh Reza gets full mark for making such a wonderful and engaging movie. As our movies are passing through a hard time, Aynabaji is like a spell of fresh air.
