There is a strong apprehension in America that election on November 8 would likely to turn into chaos, leading to violence as a result of repeated allegation of" rigged election" by Republican nominee Donald Trump. This adds to the FBI revelation of more e-mails which mostly related to Huma Abedin, a long-time close friend of Hillary Clinton, found in a private server of former Congressman Anthony Weiner, immediate past husband of Huma Abedin. The director of the FBI in a letter to the Congress on October 28 assured further inquiry into e-mails relating to Hillary Clinton which has caused nervousness in the campaign of Hillary Clinton. The FBI earlier declared close the case of e-mails investigation.
The USA Today described Huma Abedin as a "notoriously private aide "while Vanity Fair magazine painted her as closer than ever: "confessor, confidante and constant companion". It holds the opinion that "over the years Huma and Hillary have spent more times together than either has with her husband."
This is one side of election story. On the other hand, the apprehension of violence arises from repeated tweets and several recent rallies over the weekend by Donald Trump that the election was being stolen from him through large scale voter fraud, biased media coverage and a conspiracy of international banks and globalist elites who want to place Hillary Clinton in office to enrich her donors and erode sovereignty of America. Donald Trump urged his supporters to watch polling booths. This allegation by Donald Trump arises from e-mails by Huma Abedin who had expressed concern that Hillary proposed to attend at a Clinton Global Initiative in Morocco in exchange for $ 12 million pledge by the King of Morocco to Clinton Foundation. Since Huma Abedin warned, Hillary did not attend the meeting of Clinton Global initiative in May of 2015.The fact of the matter is that Hillary did not occupy Secretary of State or awarded nominee of the Democratic Party for presidentship in May of 2015. Hillary won the nomination in June of 2016.
Meanwhile, election officials warned that Donald Trump's rhetoric could lead to "racial confrontations" at polling stations. Another element is added to the controversial presidential election in America, which is related to a TV network from India. This has begun practically campaigning for Donald Trump. It is really intriguing what makes Indian electronic network to propagate in favour of Donald Trump. On the other hand, Donald Trump has been praising the role of Prime Minister Modi for economic development of India while criticising American President Barack Obama for lagging behind regarding economic development. Authorities in mosques in America have begun unprecedented efforts urging Muslims to become voters and cast votes but did not take side of the candidate.
Early casting of votes in as many as 12 states including Virginia has begun. Incidentally, popular votes would not be counted for presidential election but electoral votes select president and vice-president of America. The electoral process is controlled by local officials in 50 states while electoral voters are selected by state legislature. Article two of section one of the American constitution stipulates each state shall appoint a number of electors, equal to the whole number of Senators and Representatives to which the state may be entitled in the congress. The electors shall meet in their respective states and vote by ballot for two persons, of whom one at least shall not be an inhabitant of the same state with themselves. Votes by electors will be counted in the chamber of the president of the Senate, who is vice-president in presence of the representatives of the house and Senate as well.
Americans, by and large, expect that there will be transition of power peacefully and without any hassle.
