AMIR Khan's latest movie "Dangal" is shattering all previous box office records in terms of reputation and commercial success. Amir is lovingly known as Mr. Perfectionist of Indian cinema. "Dangal" features women empowerment and depicts how women are no less than men. The story was inspired by real life happenings and Amir Khan played the role of an amateur wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat who wanted to win a gold medal for his country but failed to do.
Later he wanted his son to fulfil his dreams. But his wife gave birth to four daughters successively to his utter disappointment. He soon realized that his daughter could also materialise his dreams of winning gold for his country and he trained up his two daughters who subsequently become internationally successful wrestlers and fulfil his dreams. The story is very absorbing and the superb talents and dedication of the protagonist filmmaker touched our heart. Amir Khan's movie offers exceptional making and he rarely disappoints his fans. Our society traditionally considers a girl child as a burden, but with "Dangal" Amir Khan portrays that even a girl child with hard work and sheer dedication can achieve whatever she likes to achieve in her life. In the poster for "Dangal" there is an eye catching tagline which says "our girls are no less than boys?"
