Tetley ACI Bangladesh Limited (TABL), one of the leading tea manufacturing company of Bangladesh, has announced the launch of a world renowned brand Tata Tea Gold in the country.
Sanjay Mohta, managing director of the TABL, and Syed Alamgir, managing director of ACI Consumer Brands, were present at the launch ceremony held at the ACI Centre in Dhaka on Wednesday.
The leaves is available in pack sizes of 400gm, 200gm & 25gm with prices ranging from Tk 15 to Tk 200 per pack, says a media release.
The TABL Managing Director Sanjay Mohta said they are committed to give world class experience to the Bangladeshi consumers.
He said they are expanding their portfolio with the Tata Tea Gold containing 15 per cent imported Orthodox long tea leaves.
In the Orthodox process, tea leaves are gently rolled to keep their natural aroma inside, Mohta informed.
“These leaves open once inside Hot Water, releasing this aroma for a never before cup experience. So, experience the natural aroma of long tea leaves with TATA Tea Gold right now,” he added.
Mr Alamgir said, “Launch of Tata Tea Gold is in line with ACI’s mission to enrich the quality of life of people. This brand will provide the consumers a unique and differentiated taste which they can enjoy at any time of the day.”
Zahidul Alam, general manager (Sales), Moinul Hakim, head of finance, Md Monirul Hasan, marketing manager, and Shafiqul Islam, head of tea buying and blending, were also present at the function.
