Southeast Bank Limited has donated two patrol cars to Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) as a part of its corporate social responsibility.
Mohammed Gofran, additional managing director of the bank, handed over the cars to Asaduzzaman Mia, BPM (Bar), PPM, commissioner of DMP, according to a statement.
S M Mainuddin Chowdhury, additional managing director of the bank, and others high officials of both the organisations attended the function held on Tuesday.
The Patrol cars are equipped with close circuit camera for continuous monitoring of the law and order situation of Gulshan 2 and Baridhara Diplomatic zone of Dhaka city to ensure safety and security of dwellers of the area.
