Shahjalal Islami Bank Ltd handed over a cheque for Tk 5.0 million to Mrs. Golsen Ara, Proprietor of Afnan Enterprise.
Mrs. Golsen Ara is an investment client of Shahjalal Islami Bank’s Keraniganj Branch, said a statement.
Farman R Chowdhury, the Managing Director & CEO of Shahjalal Islami Bank Ltd. handed over the cheque to Mrs. Golsen Ara in a programme tiltled 'Banker-SME, Women Entrepreneur and Product Display Fair-2018', arranged by Bangladesh Bank in the city Thursday.
Dr. Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury, MP, Speaker of Bangladesh Parliament was present as the chief guest and Fazle Kabir, Governor of Bangladesh Bank as special guest in the event held to mark 'Women's Day'.
