The total number of mobile phone subscribers in the country has reached 161.772 million till July of this year, according to telephone regulator officials.
Among them, the subscribers of Grameen Phone Ltd (GP) stood at 75.330 million while Robi Axiata Limited (Robi) has 47.939 million, Banglalink Digital Communications Limited 34.667 million and Teletalk Bangladesh Ltd (Teletalk) 3.836 million, said Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC).
The BTRC also added there were 157.544 million subscribers by the end of January, 2019.
