The total number of mobile phone subscribers has reached 164.83 million as of November 2019.
There were 157.54 million subscribers as of the end of January 2019, according to Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC).
Among them, the subscribers of Grameen Phone Ltd (GP) stood at 76.11 million while Robi Axiata Limited (Robi) has 48.74 million, Banglalink Digital Communications Limited has 35.11 million and Teletalk Bangladesh Ltd (Teletalk) has 4.86 million, the regulator added.
Earlier as of the end of January 2019, the subscribers of Grameen Phone Ltd (GP) stood at 73.47 million while Robi Axiata Limited (Robi) had 47.02 million, Banglalink Digital Communications Limited and Teletalk Bangladesh Ltd (Teletalk) had 34.022 million and 3.921 million, respectively, the BTRC said.
