Microbus registration decreased drastically in the country in 2019 compared to that of 2018.
A total of 3,683 microbuses were registered in 2019 while it was 4,137 in 2018, according to the statistics provided by Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA).
Apart from this, 3,241 microbuses were registered in Dhaka during the period while it was 3,585, the BRTA data showed.
A total of 5,575 microbuses were registered in 2017, it added.
