LankaBangla Foundation held ‘Sewing Machine Distribution Program 2020’ for 30 distressed women from different areas of Kurigram district recently.
The foundation successfully implemented ‘Shikha Tailoring Training Project 2019’ from October to December in 2019 and distributed sewing machines among women.
Following the success of last year’s programme, LankaBangla arranged the same project this year to help distressed women become self-reliant.
Mohammed Kamrul Hasan, chief risk officer at LankaBangla Foundation, Jahangir Hossain, head of Alternative Delivery Channels (ADC) & LB Foundation, and high officials from Ulipur Pourashava were present in the distribution programme.
