ISACA’s (Information Systems Audit and Control Association) 2nd Annual Community Day was observed on Saturday (October 3) globally.
The local chapter of Bangladesh ‘ISACA Dhaka Chapter’ celebrated the day with the theme titled ‘Walk for Cyber Security Awareness’, according to a media release.
The association has over 200 chapters in different parts of the world.
ISACA Dhaka Chapter’s President Mr Mohammed Iqbal Hossain, Vice President Mr Omar Farook Khandaker, Joint Secretary Mr Muhammad Abul Kalam Azad, CISA Director, Mr Sayed Mohammad Imtiaz Murshed, IT Governance Director Mr Md Shazzad Hossain, Marketing Director Mr Md Jahangir Alam were present at the function along with other members of the ISACA Dhaka chapter.
In a statement, Mr Mohammed Iqbal Hossain said ISACA Dhaka Chapter is always committed to creating awareness among the community members and its chapter members.
The ISACA Dhaka Chapter has always been working on the development of cyber security and trying to protect the community in the cyber space through undertaking various initiatives, the release added.
