‘US- Bangla Airlines Dhaka Travel Mart 2018’ begins at the Ball Room of Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel on Thursday.
A.K.M. Shajahan Kamal, Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism will formally inaugurate the fair at 11.00 am.
The Bangladesh Monitor, premier travel and tourism publication of the country is organising the fair for the fifteenth time. US- Bangla Airlines, a leading private sector airline of the country is the Title Sponsor while National Tourism Board of Bangladesh and national carrier Biman Bangladesh Airlines are the Partners of the event.
Kazi Wahidul Alam, Editor, The Bangladesh Monitor disclosed this at a press conference, held Monday at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel.
A minute of silence was observed at the beginning of the conference in honour of the victims of tragic plane accident at Kathmandu. Doa was also offered seeking salvation of the departed souls and early recovery of the injured passengers, said a statement.
