Parliamentary standing committee on public assurance on Sunday recommended that the monitoring of 'One House, One Farm' project and Palli Sanchay Bank should be intensified.
The committee also suggested implementing various construction projects under local government division without any delay.
It also asked the LGD to be more active in executing all the commitments made by the government.
The suggestions came at the 38th meeting of the committee held at the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban, with committee chairman Abdus Shahid in the chair.
The meeting was also informed that the second phase of 'Small Farmers Development Foundation Assistance' project is being implemented in 22 districts at an estimated cost of Tk 641 million. The tenure of the project has been extended until December 2019.
