Md Jasim Uddin Akond has been elected president of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) for the term 2020.
Other elected office bearers of ICMAB are: Abu Bakar Siddique and Md. Mamunur Rashid vice-presidents, Md Munirul Islam – secretary and Md. Ali Haider Chowdhury- treasurer, said a press release on Sunday.
Prior to his new position, Md. Jasim Uddin Akond served the ICMAB as secretary for four terms. He also served the institute as vice president and treasurer in different terms.
