The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) and AB Bank Limited have signed a MoU to get access to use the Document Verification System (DVS) to verify the authenticity of audited financial statements of different entities.
Md. Shahadat Hossain FCA, president, ICAB, and Tarique Afzal, president & managing director of the bank, signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on behalf of their respective organisations.
ICAB’s vice presidents, council members with chief executive officer and the bank’s deputy managing directors along with the senior officials were present at the occasion, says a media release.
ICAB already signed similar MoUs with NBR, FRC, BSEC and RJSC. The DVS has already become popular among the business communities and regulators.
