Khalaf Hosan Al-Otaibi, Deputy Chairman of the Jeddah Chamber, inaugurated a pavilion of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited in Jeddah International Trade Fair 2019 at Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Dr. Mohammad Abul Hasan, the Economic Minister of Bangladesh Embassy in Saudi Arabia, Professor Dr. Mohammad Saleh Jahur, Director of Islami Bank, Abu Reza Md. Yeahia, Deputy Managing Director, A. K. M. Mahbub Morshed, Senior Vice President, Mohammad Ehsanul Islam, Assistant Vice President, Nurul Absar, Senior Principal Officer and Ramjan Ali, Officer of the Bank along with officials from Ministry of Commerce of Bangladesh and Bangladesh Embassy in Saudi Arabia were present in the program.
The commercially important institutions of different countries of the world participated in the fair held recently.
A large number of Bangladeshi expatriates living in Saudi Arabia, business leaders in Jeddah, businesspersons, journalists, academics and students visited the Pavilion of Islami Bank. The delegation of Islami Bank at the fair operates campaign to encourage expatriates to send remittances to the country through banking channels. Visitors were also informed about the services of Islami Bank for expatriate Bangladeshis. Visitors expressed satisfaction over the IBBL services in collecting remittances in the country.
