Grameenphone (GP) and Banglalink outperformed the country's other operators in mobile network experience, according to a report of Opensignal, a UK-based independent global standard for analysing consumers' mobile experience.
Opensignal recently prepared the report - based on data collected between 1 April and 29 June 2022.
The report revealed that Banglalink topped in download speed, while GP remained consistent in fastest upload.
Banglalink became top in the download speed metric with 10 Mbps speed on an average, followed by GP with 8.8 Mbps.
Robi and TeleTalk were in third and fourth place, with scores of 6.8 Mbps and 4.4 Mbps respectively.
However, Grameenphone won the "upload speed experience" award with a score of 4.1 Mbps, giving it a lead of 0.7 Mbps over the second place holder Banglalink's 3.4 Mbps. GP won both the "excellent consistent quality" and the "core consistency" awards outright.
GP also won the "upload speed experience" award and the "4G coverage experience" award, while Banglalink won the "games experience" and the "voice app experience" awards, the report noted.
GP won the "upload speed experience" award with a score of 4.1 Mbps, giving it a lead of 0.7 Mbps over the second placed Banglalink's 3.4 Mbps.
Robi was in third place with 2.7 Mbps, while TeleTalk was further behind with its score of 1.4 Mbps.
In the "4G coverage experience", GP got 7.3 points on a 10-point scale, which gave it a lead of 0.6 points over the second place holder Robi's 6.7 points.
Meanwhile, Banglalink won or tied for the first place across all three experiential categories, winning "games experience" and "voice app experience". It also became top for "download speed experience".
Neither Robi nor TeleTalk managed to win any awards, but Robi was a part of the three-way ties for "availability" and "4G availability".
