Four people have died as a bus hit a motorcycle carrying four people on Dhaka-Sylhet highway at Charabagh of Raipura upazila under Narsingdi on Friday.
Three of them hailed from Raipur upazila – Ramjan Mia, 17, son of Asad Choukidar, Dalim Mia, 14, son of Hafizuddin, Shohagh Mia, 18, son of Sharif Mia – and the fourth from Shibpur – bike driver Yamin, 25.
Delwar Hossain, officer-in-charge of Raipura Police Station, said a Dhaka-bound bus from Bhairab smashed the bike carrying four people, leaving all the riders dead on the spot around 8:10 in the morning.
Police have recovered the bodies and sent those for an autopsy.
