Fiber Fashion has recently donated 500 pieces of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to hospitals in the wake of Coronavirus outbreak.

The clothing brand, with the support of mariners, manufactured the protective equipment and sent those to Chattogram Medical College Hospital, Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College and Hospital Bogura, Birampur Upazila Health Complex, Dinajpur, Nawabganj Upazila Health Complex, Dhaka, Mehendiganj Upazila Health Complex, Barishal and Rajapur Upazila Health Complex.

Sher Shah, a marine engineer and also director of Fiber Fashion, took the initiative to stand by the people of Bangladesh to tackle the pandemic.

The entrepreneur said, “We have prepared the PPE to ensure the safety of our medical professionals as they are likely to be exposed to the deadly COVID-19. I personally wanted to do something for the people in this crucial time.”

He hoped to manufacture more PPE and distribute those free of cost.

Fiber Fashion manufactured a variety of garment products in the name of Fantabulous, a brand of the organisation.  

We have introduced food, education and health programmes for our employees to discover their potential, the entrepreneur added.
