Federation of Asia Pacific Air Cargo Associations meet in city Friday

FAPAA meet kicks off in Dhaka Friday

The 46th Executive Council Meeting (ECM) and Annual General meeting (AGM) of Federation of Asia Pacific Air Cargo Associations (FAPAA) will be held in Dhaka on Friday.

Bangladesh Freight Forwarders Association (BAFFA) is hosting the two-day annual event to be participated by representatives from 11 counties of the Asia Pacific region.

Mahbubul Anam, President of BAFFA, will inaugurate the event at Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden in the capital on Friday, says a media release.

Niral Kadawatharatchie-Chairman, Erich Lingad-Secretaty and Brian Lovell-Executive Director of FAPAA will attend the programme among others.

FAPAA holds its ECM and AGM in different member associations’ countries across the South Asia Pacific region.

The Federation of Asia-Pacific Aircargo Associations (FAPAA) was formed in 1985 to enhance the growth and development of Aircargo services within the Asia – Pacific.

It now include 19 countries and regions within the Asia Pacific Region, namely: Australia, Bangladesh, Brunei, Hong Kong, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Macau, China, Malaysia, Nepal, New Zealand, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Sri-Lanka, Chinese Taipei and Thailand.
