The Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FBCCI) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Singapore Manufacturing Federation (SMF), aiming at strengthening bilateral business ties and expanding economic cooperation.
FBCCI President Mr Md Shafiul Islam (Mohiuddin) and SMF President Mr Douglas Foo signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organisations on Tuesday at ‘Bangladesh-Singapore Business Forum-2018’ (13-3-18) as the business leaders were visiting the city-state as part of the entourage of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, according to a press release.
According to the memorandum, both parties will promote exchange of business information, and will render assistance to each other in trade, investment and business events. They will also arrange business conferences and exhibitions in respective countries.
