Emirates helps Rotary to set up mother and child care centre in Dhaka

Dubai based carrier Emirates has joined hands with the Rotary Club of Dilkusha to set up a ‘mother and child care centre’ at Mirpur area of Dhaka city.

The Airline has contributed two air tickets- one for Dhaka-New York-Dhaka and other for Dhaka-London-Dhaka to raise initial fund for the project.

The tickets were auctioned among the participating members of various Rotary Clubs at the installation ceremony of Rotary International District- 3281 which was held at the BICC in Dhaka on Monday.

The entire sale proceeds will be contributed to the project, says a media release sent by Triune Group.

Mohammad Mohijur Rahman, Emirates Sales Manager in Bangladesh, formally handed over the air tickets to Rtn. Khairul Alam, newly installed Governor of the Rotary International District- 3281.

Mansoor Al Swaidi, Emirates Deputy Airport Services, Manager was also present at the function.
