BRAC Bank limited, in collaboration with Babson College, an entrepreneurship college in the US, and FMO, a Dutch financial investment firm specialising in financing businesses and projects, has offered a four-day training to a selected group of Bangladeshi women entrepreneurs.
The first-of-its-kind women business owners’ training programme in Bangladesh will be hosted by BRAC bank at its corporate office.
Women entrepreneurs having two years of business experience with entrepreneurial spirit, enthusiasm and persistence are eligible for applying for the programme, said a media release received today (Thursday).
The first phase of the training will be held on July 3-4 and the second phase on July 8-9.
Richard T Bliss, PhD, Babson College, Professor of Finance and National Academic Director – 10,000 Small Businesses; and Professor Patricia G Greene, Academic Director, Babson College will conduct the programme.
Upon successful completion of the training, the participants will receive a formal recognition and achievement certificates that will be handed over by BRAC Bank Chairman Sir Fazle Hasan Abed KCMG.
BRAC Bank Managing Director and CEO Selim R F Hussain and senior representatives from FMO and Babson College will be present at the ceremony in the evening of the last day of training.
