bKash Limited, the largest mobile financial service provider in the country recently signed an agreement with Marico Bangladesh Limited to provide disbursement solutions to the leading consumer goods manufacturer in the country.
Kamal Quadir, Chief Executive Officer of bKash and Naveen Pandey, Executive Vice President & Country Head of Marico Bangladesh exchanged the deal on behalf of their organizations in a simple ceremony held at the bKash head office. Mizanur Rashid, Chief Commercial Officer of bKash was present, said a statement.
Under the deal, Marico will leverage the disbursement solutions of bKash to make various payments to its distributors and trade partners.
Once the fund is transferred into the recipients bKash accounts, it can be accessed instantly. They can utilise the account balance to make person to person fund transfer, top-up mobile airtime, pay bills and make in-store payment or they can cash out the money via 180,000 bKash agent locations across the country. They can also store the money in their bKash accounts and earn interest on savings.
Speaking on the occasion, Kamal Quadir, CEO of bKash said, ‘We are excited to offer our disbursement solutions to Marico, helping the company to disburse fund quickly and efficiently among its business and trade partners spread across the country.
