The Bangladesh Bank (BB) has asked the commercial banks to ensure all sorts of securities, including cyber security, during the upcoming holidays on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
“During the holidays, banks will have to take measures to ensuring security of IT systems, establishments and vaults,” according to a BB circular issued on Thursday, reports BSS.
The central bank also instructed the banks to appoint senior officials to make surprise visits to the branches, the circular added.
The BB also asked all banks to maintain communication with the law enforcement agencies.
