City Bank launched ‘Bangabandhu Corner’ at the ground floor of bank's head office. The initiative has been taken to mark the centenary of the birth of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
City Bank Chairman Aziz Al Kaiser inaugurated the corner on March 2.
Bangabandhu Corner at City Bank is rich in books, pictures, documents and videos created on the life, work and ideals of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
Customers and bank officials can learn about the life, strugle and ideals of Bangabandhu. Apart from its head office, City Bank has also set up ‘Bangabandhu Corner’ at O.R. Nizam Road Branch in Chattagram and Khulna branch.
Among others present on the occasion were bank’s Director Savera H. Mahmood, Additional Managing Director Sheikh Mohammad Maroof, Deputy Managing Directors Md. Abdul Wadud, Md. Mahbubur Rahman, Mahia Juned and Nurullah Chowdhury and other top officials of the bank.
