Bagdoom.com wins BASIS ICT Digital Awards

Bagdoom.com has won BASIS National ICT Awards - 2019 organized for the third time by the Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS).

The C.E.O of the company Mirajul Huq said, Bagdoom launched Krishti - the first rural female entrepreneur-based e-commerce platform in Bangladesh, under the aegis of digital and financial inclusion of rural women, focusing on Bangladeshi creativity. We are grateful to the Bagdoom team, IDE, "WEESMS" project and those women entrepreneurs for receiving the National ICT Awards.

The event was held at the Radisson Blu Hotel in the capital where Information Minister of Bangladesh Dr. Hasan Mahmud, Minister for Information and Communications Technology  Zunaid Ahmed Palak, Minister of State for Public Administration Farhad Hossain along with Momin Islam, Chief Executive Officer of IPDC Finance Limited, Syed Almas Kabir, President of BASIS, Sayeda Zaakia Noor, Member of Parliament were present. 

Minister of State for ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak said BASIS has been working relentlessly in advancing the IT sector. The awarding of projects by selecting projects in 35 categories from across the country is a matter of great honour to our IT sector.

Along with the winners, they got the chance to go to the APICTA Awards ceremony to be held in Ha Long Bay, Vietnam on November 18-23.
