Mr Arif Shahriar has been appointed as the chief people and culture officer of Apex Footwear Limited.
In Apex, he will be part of the senior leadership team and will be responsible for engineering cultural transformation, business re-engineering and strategic initiatives, said a press release.
In his last role, Mr Shahriar was the chief people and business performance officer with Rahimafrooz Limited.
He has over three decades of multi-dimensional experiences ranging from manufacturing to project management, strategic HR & change management. He has handled various leadership roles in British American Tobacco Bangladesh as the head of manufacturing and head of HR.
In addition, he served BAT Australia as the head of HR that has made him the experienced veteran having diversified cultural knowledge.
He completed his MBA from North South University and BSc in electrical and electronics engineering from West Virginia Institute of technology, USA.
