The Aqua Paints and Elite Steel teams have hosted a knowledge sharing session at Sthapatya Bhaban in Segunbagicha area of Dhaka.
They conducted a presentation with the architects from Department of Architecture, Government of Bangladesh at the event on Monday.
They presented product innovations along with industry and company overviews, says a media release.
Aqua’s Elastomeric Roof Kote currently being used at the Million Cool Roof Challenge and tested at Karail Slum has strong performance parameters and intrigued the interest of all architects especially with the impending arrival of the hot summer season, said the release.
“We request architects to consider high quality domestic brands and provide sampling opportunities in prestigious government projects across the country,” said Group Director Shayaan Seraj.
In a highly competitive market, he sought assistance from the government in promoting local brands, he said.
He also provided an open invitation to visit the factory and assess quality systems.
Chief Architect, ASM Aminur Rahman regretted his presence due to an important engagement but was committed in providing local brands that meet strict quality standards with opportunities.
