2,633 buses were registered with Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) in the first nine months ofcurrent calendar year.
Of them, 2,215 buses were registered in Dhaka during January to September 2019, according to a data provided by the transport regulator.
The data also revealed that 2,755 buses were registered in 2018 and 3,760 in 2017.
