The number of covered van registration in the country stood at 2,374 in the first nine months of current calendar year, according to an official data.
Of the total, 1,947 covered vans were registered in Dhaka, according to Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) statistics.
Moreover, the data added that 5,729 of such vehicles were registered in 2018, while the number stood at 5,176 in 2017.
