Vanguard AML Rupali Bank Balanced Fund declares 12pc dividend

The Trustee Committee of the Vanguard AML Rupali Bank Balanced Fund has declared 12 per cent cash dividend based on net income for the year ended on December 31, 2017, said an official disclosure on Thursday.

The record date for entitlement of dividend is March 29.

The Trustee of the Fund has also reported earnings per unit (EPU) of Tk. 1.25, net asset value (NAV) per unit of Tk. 13.39 on the basis of market price, NAV per unit of Tk. 12.16 on the basis of cost price and net operating cash flow per unit (NOCFPU) of Tk. 0.20 for the year ended on December 31, 2017 as against Tk N/A (as period is before Fund Listing date 15.11.2016), Tk. 11.02, Tk. 10.91 and Tk. N/A (as period is before Fund Listing date 15.11.2016) respectively for the same period of the previous year.

Each unit of the fund, which was listed on the Dhaka bourse in 2016, closed at Tk 10.40 on Wednesday at Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE).

The fund’s paid-up capital is Tk 1587 million while the total number of outstanding securities is 158.74 million.

The sponsor-directors own 25.20 per cent stake in the fund, while institutional investors own 73.26 per cent, and the general public 1.54 per cent as of as of January 31, 2018, the DSE data shows.
