The board of directors of Phoenix Insurance Company, and Phoenix Finance & Investment have recommended dividend for the year ended on December 31, 2019, according to separate official disclosures on Monday.
Phoenix Insurance: The board of directors of Phoenix Insurance Company has recommended 12 per cent cash dividend for the year ended on December 31, 2019.
The final approval will come during the annual general meeting (AGM) scheduled to be held on September 16 at 2:30 pm through a digital platform.
The record date is July 30.
The company has also reported EPS of Tk. 2.31, NAV per share of Tk. 34.88 and NOCFPS of Tk. 0.63 for the year ended on December 31, 2019 as against Tk. 2.56, Tk. 37.01 and Tk. 1.85 respectively for the same period of the previous year.
There will be no price limit on the trading of the shares of the company today following its corporate declaration; however, as per the BSEC Order dated March 19, 2020, the floor price shall be applicable accordingly.
In 2018, the company disbursed 12 per cent cash dividend.
Each share of the company closed at Tk 22.50 on Sunday at the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE).
Phoenix Finance: The board of directors of Phoenix Finance and Investment has recommended 6.0 per cent cash and 6.0 per cent stock dividend for the year ended on December 31, 2019.
The AGM will be held on September 17 at 11:30 am through a digital platform. The record date is July 26.
The company has also reported EPS of Tk.1.89, NAV per share of Tk. 22.50 and NOCFPS of Tk. 7.54 for the year ended on December 31, 2019 as against Tk. 2.02, Tk. 20.62 and Tk. 5.95 respectively for the same period of the previous year.
