Land to be allocated for setting up stock market training academy

The Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (RAJUK) will allocate two bighas of land in Purbachal area to Bangladesh Security and Exchange Commission (BSEC) to establish a stock market training academy.

Housing and Public Works Minister Engineer Mosharraf Hossain revealed the information while speaking at the reunion of BSEC families at the Multipurpose Hall of BSEC Bhaban in city’s Agargaon on Sunday, reports BSS citing a press release.

Mosharraf said skilled investors will come forward to invest in the stock market if the BSEC establishes the training academy and the market will be more stable.

A group of investors make the market unstable in their own interest and loot money from the market. Many general investors are being affected for them, he added.

He urged the BSEC officials concerned to remain alert against such investors who want to create an unstable situation in the stock market.

BSEC commissioners Dr Swapan Kumar Bala and Khandaker Kamaluzzaman, among others, were present in the function with BSEC chairman Dr M Khairul Islam in the chair.
