Kazi Sanaul Hoq joins DSE as MD

Kazi Sanaul Hoq joined the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) as its managing director on Sunday after getting the regulatory approval in this regard.

Earlier on January 09 last, the board of directors of the premier bourse took the decision to appoint Mr. Hoq as their company's managing director.

Later, the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) approved his appointment on January 23. Before joining the DSE, Mr. Hoq was the managing director of Karmasangsthan Bank.

He was also the managing director of state-run Investment Corporation of Bangladesh (ICB) prior to joining Karmasangsthan Bank.

Besides, Mr. Hoq was the managing director of Rajshahi Krishi Unnayan Bank and deputy managing director of Agrani Bank.

However, he made a courtesy call to the chairman and commissioners of the securities regulator on Sunday. "It was an informal meeting.
