City Bank’s EPS falls marginally

The City Bank has reported consolidated earnings per share (EPS) of Tk 2.75 for January-September, 2022 as against Tk 2.77 for the same period a year ago.

The company's consolidated net profit after tax stood at above Tk 3.30 billion for the January-September period, down from Tk 3.32 billion (rearranged) during the corresponding period of the previous year.

The bank on Monday announced the EPS for nine months while disclosing its January-September (Q3) financial performance of the year.

The existing and potential investors across the globe, researchers, analysts and many other individuals involved in capital market activities joined the event, said a release.

The City Bank, presently an 'A' category company, was listed with the stock exchange in 1986.

The company's sponsor-directors hold 32.51 per cent shares, institutes 26.24 per cent, foreigners 4.74 per cent and general investors 36.51 per cent as on September 30, 2022.
