CSE, LankaBangla ink MoU on VTS

Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) and LankaBangla Securities signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to introduce virtual trading simulator first time in the country, a statement said.

The simulator will provide real time virtual trading experience on CSE. "It will contribute to the ongoing effort of Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission to promote financial literacy program and to reach the digital goal of the country," the CSE statement said.

The statement also said the simulator is expected to educate new investors prior to investments in the stock market and help to enhance market participation.

A.K. Abdul Momen, CSE chairman, M. Shaifur Rahman Mazumdar, CSE managing director, Md Ghulam Faruque, DGM and head of Dhaka office, Hasnain Bari, DGM and head of IT services, were present on behalf of the port city bourse CSE.

On the other hand, MD Nasir Uddin Chowdhury, managing director of LankaBangla Securities, Khandoker Saffat Reza, CEO of LankaBangla Securities were present.
