The share trading of Alif Industries has been resumed on Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) today (Thursday) after its upgrade from the over-the-counter (OTC) market, a CSE official said.
Shares of the company have already been traded on the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) since December 28 after making a comeback from the OTC market.
Earlier, the company fulfilled requisite conditions to commence the share trading on the main trading floor.
Alif Industries, previously known as Sajib Knitwear, was listed with the capital market in 1995. Later, it was de-listed from the main trading floor and sent to the OTC market.
Recently, the board of directors of the premier bourse has approved trading of the shares on the main market.
Previously, the DSE management had allowed Wata Chemicals to come back to the main trading floor from OTC market in May 2014.
