Bangladesh opener Tamim Iqbal hit a ton in the first innings of the tour match against Cricket West Indies President XI at Coolidge Cricket Ground in Antigua.
Bangladesh ended up day one at 274 for six in 82.5 overs with Tamim being not-out for 140 off 240 deliveries, reports UNB.
While Tamim hit a ton, the other opener Mahmudul Hasan Joy suffered a duck. Mominul Haque, who resigned from his role as Bangladesh Test captain, also suffered a duck.
After Tamim, Najmul Hossain Shanto was the best scorer for Bangladesh posting 54 runs on the board.
For the hosts, Jeremiah Louis bagged two wickets.
In the tour, Bangladesh will play a two Tests, three ODIs and a three-match T20I series.
