US Ambassador Peter Haas has visited Bangla Trac Cricket Academy, one of the largest private cricket academies in the country, in Rajshahi.
The non-profit academy has been built to make professional cricketers and to make them ready to be a part of the Bangladesh National Cricket Team.
Bangla Trac Cricket Academy directors Md. Abdul Muqtadir, Md. Ashaduzzaman, and Md. Ashraful Islam welcomed the ambassador.
Iqbal Husain, the CEO of Bangla Trac Limited, along with the trainees, staff, and key authorities of the academy were present there, says a media release.
The ambassador visited the academy along with Ms Kathryn D. Stevens, Mission Director of USAID, Bangladesh.
During his visit, the ambassador was made ready in complete cricketing gears and given the opportunity to take part in playing sessions with bat and ball.
He interacted with the trainees and staff, exchanged words, and encouraged the young talents to keep continuing the good works.
