Two matches of 2nd Division Handball League were decided on the opening day (Monday, Oct 10, 2022) at Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali Handball Stadium in Dhaka city, reports BSS.
In the day's inaugural match, Aditi Int'l beat South Point Sports Club by 17-13 goals after leading the first half by 11-10 goals while Nabadwip Sangha defeated Dhaka Sabuj by 19-5 goals after dominating the first half by 9-3 goals.
Earlier, Bangladesh Handball Federation's (BHF) vice president Golam Habib formally inaugurated the league as the chief guest.
BHF's general secretary Asaduzzaman Kohinoor, league committee's chairman and BHF's executive member Anam-a-a Khoda Julu and league committee's secretary and BHF's executive member Zahid Mahmud, were among others, present on the occasion.
