Bangladesh thrashed Afghanistan by 61 runs in the first of the two-match T20i series at the Sher-E-Bangla National Cricket Stadium at Mirpur on Thursday.
Earlier, after winning the toss and electing to bat, Bangladesh put on a formidable score of 155 runs for the loss of eight wickets.
Litton Das carried on his fine form in the shortest format of the game top scoring with 60 off 44 deliveries for the hosts.
In reply, the visitors were bundled out for 94. Young left arm spinner took four wickets while seamer Shoriful took three wickets to wreak havoc in the Afghan batting line-up.
This was the third highest win for Bangladesh in T20Is in terms of runs.
