After kicking off their T20 World Cup campaign with a nine-run win over the Netherlands, the Bangladesh team reached Sydney on Tuesday. The Tigers will take on South Africa in Sydney on October 27.
Taskin Ahmed, the right-arm pacer, was the star of Bangladesh in their first-ever win in the Super 12s stage of the T20 World Cups, according to UNB.
He bagged four wickets conceding 25 runs in four overs. Two of Taskin’s four wickets came off the first two balls of the innings— the first of such instances in the history of the T20 World Cups.
Hasan Mahmud, the other pacer, also bowled well and drew the attention of the cricket fans. He bagged two wickets conceding only 15 runs in four overs.
