Sri Lankan Cricket Board on Saturday announced a 16-member Test squad under the newly appointed head coach Chandika Hathurusingha.
The Island nation will play a two-match Test series against the Tigers beginning on January 31 at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in the port city of Chittagong.
The second Test match will be held at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka from February 8 to 12, says UNB.
Danushka Gunathilaka, Kusal Mendis, Dushmantha Chameera, Akila Dananjaya and Lahiru Kumara were included in the Hathurusingha's Test squad dropping Vishwa Fernando, Sadeera Samarawickrama, Dasun Shanaka and Lahiru Thirimanne.
Sri Lanka Test squad: Dinesh Chandimal (Captain), Dimuth Karunaratne, Angelo Mathews, Danushka Gunathilaka, Kusal Mendis, Dhananjaya de Silva, Niroshan Dickwella, Roshen Silva, Rangana Herath, Suranga Lakmal, Dilruwan Perera, Dushmantha Chameera, Lakshan Sandakan, Akila Dananjaya, Lahiru Gamage and Lahiru Kumara.
