After taking better treatment in Australia, all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan returned home on Sunday.
He arrived at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport by an aircraft of Singapore Airlines around 11:00am.
Shakib left home for Sri Lanka on March 6 and from there he went to Australia on March 9 after witnessing Bangladesh’s first match in the seven-match Nidahas Trophy in Colombo on March 8.
Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) physician Dr Debashis Chowdhury said, “Shakib has returned today (Sunday). We will examine his injured finger tomorrow (Monday).”
Shakib was ruled out from T20 squad for ongoing tri-nation Nidahas Trophy as he is still recovering from the finger injury what he suffered during fielding against Sri Lanka in the Tri-nation ODI series final in Mirpur on January 27, reports UNB.
